Another wonderful Georgia State Park. Quiet, plenty of hiking and nature trails. A little tricky getting into with a 35' motorhome but not too bad either.
Clean all around. Enjoyed the site we were in. Very pleasant staff. Short walk to salt water fishing pier, beach and port. Short drive to Cape Canaveral. After 5 PM wouldn't think your are next to a busy seaport. Would stay there again.
Highly impressed by this park. Kudos to the State of New York. Was right on the lake side, great view and breeze. It rained but not flooded out. Light traffic during the weekday, great little town to eat in and visit (Youngstown). Would stay again and longer.
It is a bit run down, and there are too many seasonal "shacks" that have seen better days. The place would be spectacular with a little maintenance. It's right on Lake Marion. We would have been better off at the state park for half the price.
What a hidden treasure. Truly a hospitality haven. Nice quiet town nearby, woods to wonder and very peaceful. Would certainly recommend to others and would stay again.
